An Amber Alert was issued on Monday morning by the sheriff's office as they sought the public's assistance in locating the child who was reportedly abducted outside an elementary school by someone he knew.

Khalil Rodney Ringgold was reported missing after last being seen at the Churchville Elementary School entering a vehicle with an unknown man who was in a gray four-door Nissan Altima with an Ohio license plate JFK3146.

On Monday afternoon, investigators confirmed that the child was located and unharmed.

The investigation is ongoing, officials said, and is being reviewed by the sheriff's office and Harford County State's Attorney to determine if any charges are to be filed.
